In environments where multiple users share equipment including hospitals, dental practices, laboratories, manufacturing facilities, and other high‑traffic areas keyboards can quickly become contaminated with dirt and microorganisms.
A waterproof, easy‑clean surface helps reduce the build‑up of debris and makes routine disinfection far more efficient. When combined with antimicrobial protection, ioniTOUCH™ keyboards offer an additional hygiene benefit by helping to inhibit bacterial growth on the surface.

What does the antimicrobial coating do?
The antimicrobial technology used in ioniTOUCH™ medical keyboards helps inhibit the growth of microorganisms on the keyboard’s surface. This supports good hygiene practice in clinical environments by reducing the ability of bacteria to survive on high‑touch areas.
The antimicrobial additive is incorporated into both the silicone over‑moulding and the coating, providing an additional layer of protection. Our BPR‑approved antimicrobial additive has passed efficacy testing against E. coli, MRSA, and K. pneumoniae.
Do ioniTOUCH™ Keyboards assist with Infection Control?
ioniTOUCH™ keyboards are designed to support good infection‑control practice by making cleaning easier and by incorporating antimicrobial technology that helps inhibit the growth of bacteria on the keyboard’s surface. Their fully sealed, easy‑clean construction also helps prevent the build‑up of dirt and debris, making routine disinfection more effective.
It’s important to note that antimicrobial surfaces are not a substitute for proper cleaning and disinfection. Regular cleaning, in line with local infection‑control guidelines such as HTM 01‑05, remains essential in all healthcare environments.

Do ioniTOUCH™ Keyboards contain Latex?
No, none of our medical keyboards or mice contains Latex.
How does the Cleaning Mode button work?
All ioniTOUCH™ keyboards feature a Cleaning Mode button, allowing you to temporarily disable key input during cleaning without disconnecting the keyboard. This prevents accidental key presses from appearing on screen.
To activate Cleaning Mode, press and hold the button for 5 seconds. You can then wash or wipe down the keyboard as required. To return the keyboard to normal operation, simply press and hold the button again for another 5 seconds.

Where are ioniTOUCH™ Keyboards used?
ioniTOUCH™ medical keyboards are widely used across healthcare environments in the UK and Ireland, including hospitals, dental practices, breast‑screening clinics, cleanrooms and laboratories. They are also popular in commercial and retail settings where shared workstations or hot‑desking arrangements require enhanced hygiene control.
How long will it take to deliver my online order?
Our standard delivery time is 3–5 days from receipt of order.
What is the returns policy?
Customers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods, whether or not the items are faulty. This applies to purchases made online, by mail, or by phone under distance‑selling regulations.
If a customer notifies us within this 14‑day period that they wish to cancel, they are entitled to a refund. They then have a further 14 days to return the goods. Once the items have been received, we will process the refund within 14 days.
To arrange a return, we will issue a Return Materials Authorisation (RMA) number and the return to address will be supplied.
The RMA number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the return package. All items must be returned unused, in their original packaging, and in a condition suitable for resale, unless they are faulty and covered by warranty. If a product is faulty and within warranty, delivery costs will also be refunded.
Please note that customised or made‑to‑order products cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
How does it feel to type on an ioniTOUCH™ keyboard?
ioniTOUCH™ keyboards provide positive tactile feedback when typing. Because the silicone casing is fully sealed, the typing experience will feel slightly different compared to a standard desktop keyboard. While comfortable for general use, it may not be ideal for high‑speed data‑entry applications.
What can I use to clean an ioniTOUCH™ keyboard?
ioniTOUCH™ keyboards can be cleaned with antibacterial spray or Hospital grade disinfectant wipes.

How long is the warranty period?
